The AutoWatch Ghost Immobiliser

The Ghost immobiliser is a unique device that is designed to secure your vehicle without the need of an aftermarket alarm or immobiliser key fob. The Ghost device is connected to your vehicle’s CAN Data Network and you have to enter a personal PIN Code which is programmed into the system using the buttons on your dashboard or steering wheel. This unique button pattern must be entered by you before your vehicle can even start, making it secure from theft.

Advantages of the Ghost Immobilisation System

• Engine Start Block – The Ghost immobiliser is designed to prevent your car’s engine from starting unless you input the unique personalised code sequence you have chosen.
• Undetectable Protection – There are many readily available professional diagnostic tools that can detect any alarm or immobiliser circuits in your vehicle that can potentially disable them, therfore enabling thieves to steal your car. However, The Ghost immobiliser has no circuits to cut and therefore can’t be deactivated with using this method.

CAN Data Network

The Ghost immobiliser is installed on the vehicles CAN Data network, which can be fitted to a number of locations in your car so it is extremely discrete and is completely invisible

Silent Operation

The Ghost immobiliser communicates with your vehicle’s ECU unit via the CAN Data circuit, it operates in total silence and doesn’t give away its location. This allows you to negate key cloning theft, key relay theft, and ECU swapping, making it impossible for a thief to add a new key, replicate your key, or replace the ECU to steal your vehicle as only your own personal PIN code will allow your car to be started.

Emergency Pin Code Override System

If you forget your PIN code or one of the buttons in your PIN code becomes unusable or inoperative, there is a unique reset for code specific to each device. This enables you to deactivate the system to get the vehicle repaired for normal use.

Valet Mode

Every car needs to go in for periodic maintenance servicing. The Ghost immobiliser has a valet mode which deactivates the system for the dealer or mechanic to carry out any necessary works without the need of you personal PIN code. 

Changing Your PIN Code

Changing the PIN once the system is very easy to carry out, and can be done by you at any time. This will be demonstrated and explained to you once the system has been installed.
